Marvel Rivals, the upcomingOverwatch-style superhero shooter title from NetEase, was announced in March 2024. The list includes terms like“Bootleg Overwatch,”“Phauxverwatch,”“Mid af,”and others that are worse than the ones mentioned before, such as“Even Paladins is better than this trash,”“Minecraft China,”and“Ain’t this the studio that made Diablo Immortal,”among others. Although the list is fake, several gamers have said that they wouldn’t mind if it were real.

DeveloperNetEase has now clarified its stance on the contract with a statementand apologized for the“unpleasant experiences or doubts caused by the miscommunication of these terms”on the official Discord server of the game. It has also added that it will be“less restrictive and more Creator-friendly”with the terms going forward.
