Atlus and Koei Tecmo published the third and last full length-trailer forPersona 5 Scramble The Phantom Strikersbefore the game’s Japanese launch. This third trailer shows a lot, including new bosses, comedic event scenes and serious story developments. You might want to skip it if you wish to know as least as possible on the game. I personally believe promotional material of Japanese games does show a lot, but always keep some surprises under wraps and only show a fraction of what’s actually happening, so it’s fine to watch. And like always with Japanese games, the trailer is full of hard to translate, out-of-context one-liners, which doesn’t actually tell you anything, though it makes your theory engine running. Anyway, here’s the finalPersona 5 Scrambletrailer:
I’ve got a few theories or observations myself, mainly how it seems like Sophia/Sophie will end up fighting the Phantom Thieves at some point, probably because she gets manipulated. This seems like the typical anime-like scenario where the mysterious little girl ends up being a world-ending AI system. Sophia seems to get an older-looking transformation too. Meanwhile, the person in armor seen multiple times in the trailer is probably King, the one behind the apparition of the Jails, the new Metaverses, who was mentioned in past trailers. In any case, I’m more hyped than ever for this sequel, much more than I was forPersona 5 Royal, and can’t wait for its Japanese release next week.
