In fact, the concept of running DOOM inside of other video games and devices has become so popular, that there’s awhole subredditdevoted to the concept. The subreddit, which is known as ‘It Runs Doom’, has seen the likes of Minecraft, Roblox, andeven a microwaverun DOOM. The meme has gone so far that somebody even gotDOOM running in DOOM. Why? You might ask. Why not? Is what I say to that.

Just when you think DOOM has run on every device and video game known to man, modders come out of nowhere and add one more to the list. Created by Xan1242 and KingJack, this upcoming mod allows Persona 5 Royal to play DOOM as one of the game’s many side activities. The impressive feat wasposted on X(formerly Twitter) by YouTuber Faz, who said, “You can now play Doom in Persona 5 Royal.”
The mod is yet to go live, but Faz says it “will go public sometime soon.” According to the YouTuber, when the mod does go live, players will be able to download it from eitherGithuborGameBanana.
While DOOM has been modded into countless other video games over the years, Persona 5 Royal appears to be the one that actually makes the most sense. For those who might be unaware, one of Persona 5 Royal’s side activities allows the player to play video games. Simply head to the second-hand store in Yongen-Jaya to purchase a Retro Game Console to start playing. There are 6 different games for players to collect, which is also how you obtain the Golden Finger trophy.
