No matter what difficulty you choose forPersona 4 Golden, you’ll constantly need to level up to take on the bosses at the end of each dungeon. This is one of the few games that will have you ending up relatively close to the max level by the end of the game, with the final boss having a recommended level of around 90 for your whole party.

For the most part, fighting shadows in the current dungeon will help you stay at a reasonable level for that dungeon’s boss, but later levels can start to turn into a bit of a grind. Persona 4 Golden is also a very long game, and there are things players can prioritize in even the first dungeon to help them stay just a bit ahead of the leveling grind.
Golden Hands And Shuffle Time
One shadow to be constantly on the lookout for in a dungeon are the golden hands. These shadows will appear in the dungeon and willflee from the player once they are spotted. These shadows are pretty fast and will require the player to chase them and get a bit lucky. These handsrun in a straight line, and when they hit a wall will bounce off of it, running at a different angle in the same direction, use this to predict where they will be and have them run into you. Defeating golden hand shadows willreward the player with a mountain of XP,making them always worthwhile to chase down.
Golden hands are usually resistant to all elements and will require many strong physical or almighty attacks to defeat them. Another good focus to have isprioritizing wands in shuffle time. Getting wands willmultiply the XP from the battle, and should you select this reward more often than not, it will have you getting more XP than usual. Wands also multiply the XP of golden hands fights, making thisan incredible combofor those looking to level up quickly.

Best Late Game Farming
The best place to farm golden hands is in thefifth dungeon, Secret Laboratory. Reach the stairs of the fifth floor to head to the next floor and use them to enter the sixth floor. Thesixth floor has a set layout, and after entering this floor, make the first left you see and continue forward to the crossroads of four paths. At this crossroads, three shadows will spawnfor each pathway, each with the possibility of being a golden hand.
Should one of the shadows not be a golden hand, headback to the stairs, run back up to the sixth floor to reset their spawns, and keep trying until you find and fight golden hands. This process is a bit repetitive but can quickly have you leveling up faster than fighting regular shadows ineven higher-level dungeons. It is also best tohave a persona that has an almighty attack, as these will do full damage to a golden hand.
