Persona 3 Reload: Classroom Questions & Answers (In-Progress)
Every few days of Persona 3 Reload will have the main character called on in class to answer a question; here are all the answers.
How To Defeat The Controlling Partner & Dependent Partner
These enemies will help each other, giving healing and buffs to make the fight much more difficult. To make it easier, the firstfocus will be on the Dependent Partner.Have a Persona with a Pierce attack on the Protagonist and use that ability andAigis' Cruel Attack to deal lots of damage to the Dependent Partner when downed.Yukari’s bow will also offer additional pierce damage, butshe’ll also need to focus on healing.
HaveAkihiko lower the enemy’s attack with Tarundawhenever they buff it to keep their damage output reasonable while also trying tofish for critical attacks on the Controlling Partnerwith his physical abilities. Even if this doesn’t work, thedamage from Cruel Attack will be multiplied on the downed enemyand eventually take out the weaker Dependent Partner.

After the Dependent Partner has been taken out, theControlling Partner won’t act for the next two turns as it mournsthe loss. This is anideal time to use Aigis’Theurgyand buff her attack to deal loads of damage to the Controlling Partner. Continue to utilize piece attacks to fish for critical hits while using All-Out Attacks when available, and this fight will be over soon.
