Who Is Kidpool?
Walker Scobell was rumored to play the younger version of Deadpool from an alternative universe called Kidpool. Hailing from Earth – 10330, Kidpool is simply a younger Deadpool as opposed to a kid version of him. However, there are some changes to his origin story. While Deadpool became a superhero with mutant abilities due to experiments done on him, Kidpool was born a mutant and attended Professor X’s school.
Kidpool does not get along with the rest of his mutant classmates and joins Deadpool’s Deadpool Corps to save the multiverse. There he travels to Earth-20110, where the native Deadpool is an Avenger, who dies under mysterious circumstances. The Deadpool Corps have to fight a zombified hoard of Avengers such as Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man.
Kidpool’s weapons include two lightsaber-esque swords that he stole from the Danger Room in Professor X’s school. He only meets Deadpool during his multiversal battles, which made perfect sense to fans when it was rumored that Scobell would be playing the role. While Walker Scobell has debunked the rumors, one can never know with Ryan Reynolds as the came might just happen.
