What Happened Previously In Overlord?
The Quagoa army attacks Feo Jera, but Ainz offers his assistance to the general, who agrees to take his help. Although the Death Knights are able to push back the Quagoa army, two of them die after Yohz destroys the bridge. Meanwhile, Ainz discusses a trade alliance with Dwarves Regency and also offers to provide them protection. He also offers to take back the Royal capital of Feo Berkana despite knowing that the Quagoa army is very large, and a Frost Dragon is living in the region. All Ainz wants in return is Rune Smiths returning to his kingdom.
The council agrees to the terms, after which, Ainz meet with the Rune Smiths and assures them that he wants to revive their craft. The Smiths are delighted to hear the news, especially Gondo, whose family has been practicing Rune Crafting for ages. Gondo asks for Ainz’s assistance in stealing a book on Rune Crafting from the Royal Library. In return, he offers to act as a guide to the Royal Capital. Due to the knight’s death, Ainz instructs Shalltear to come up with a plan in case their killers appear. He also looks forward to meeting the dragon.
