He probably wouldn’t have needed assistants anymore and would have made AI do the work! (laughs) Things like drawing borders, filling in black areas, and parts of the background.
Though AI is efficient, it gives rise to major concerns. Be it layoffs or privacy and security, it is a growing threat to many artists be it mangaka or animators. In this aspect, the late mangaka held traditional methods in high regard.
