The final episode ofDemon Slayerseason 4, called “The Hashiras Unite,” came out on June 09, 2025, and in just a few days, the episode has become one of the most popular anime episodes of all time. The narrative of the episode revolved around Muzan finally meeting Kagaya Ubuyashiki and trying to kill him and his entire family.

However, the episode took a sudden twist when Ubuyashiki blew himself and his family up to catch Muzan in the blast range. Later on, he is attacked by Tamayo, Himejima, and the rest of the Hashiras, but they are all transported to the Infinity Castle.
The episode was forty minutes long, and it is nowconsidered the best episode of the entire series. Not only that, the episode has been rated the 12th highest episode of all time onIMDbwith a 9.9 rating and the 5th highest animated episode of all time, only lacking behind series likeAvatar: The Last AirbenderandVinland Saga.

Koyoharu Gotouge’smagnum opus has been quite popular among anime and manga fans since the beginning. The compelling storyline and the great animation have helped the series become one of the best narratives of all time. Although the episode was one of the most entertaining episodes ofDemon Slayer,the series still has a lot to offer in the finale. It will feature the concluding battles between the Hashiras, Upper Moons, Muzan, and Tanjiro, and all these events of TheDemon Slayerwill be turned into three films.
