The Russo Brothers’ success with the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to follow them through their careers outside of the multi-billion dollar franchise. Although they have come back for the next phase, their works outside of the superhero genre have not been any less impressive. Recently, the pair are set to be a part of Disney’s Hercules live-action film.

While there has been confirmation on this from their side, very little is actually known about the film itself. With so little information and so much time for speculation, many theories and fan casts have taken over the internet. Keeping this in mind, here is the perfect reason why the Russos could be perfectly equipped to handle Henry Cavill as the titular character.

Henry Cavill Would Be Perfect For Hercules

It has been collectively acknowledged by the internet that in any given scenario,Henry Cavillwill always be the perfect cast for any character. This has become such a common theme that audiences have begun to joke about it. However, it is not surprising considering how the actor seems perfect for almost any character who is put beside him.

Recently, the same seems to be the case for Disney’sHerculesadaptation. Although he was a very important figure in Greek mythology, the 1997 film was no less iconic when it came to cultural significance. The character has been beloved for decades, and the sentiment is for good reason.

Considering just how much pressure is there on the film, the Russo brothers would have to be very cautious about who they cast in the role of the titular character. However, there are several reasons why Cavill could be the best fit. On top of looking exactly like the character in real life, he also has experience playing a demi-god.

In 2011, he ended up starring inImmortals, where he played the role of Hercules’ cousin, Theseus. With this in mind, there is no denying that Cavill would be an excellent fit.

The Russo Brothers Learning From One Marvel Film Could Make It Happen

Although it has been established that Henry Cavill would be perfect for the role of Hercules in the live-action adaptation of the film, there may be one roadblock that fans may face. Before becoming the beloved, buff version of himself, Hercules was quite a scrawny character. While Cavill can do many things, looking frail and fragile does not seem to be one of them. However, this is where the Russo Brothers could help the actor.

One of the most memorable moments from the MCU is when Captain America has his physical transformation inCaptain America: The First Avenger. Going from a gaunt-looking boy who was trying to get into the army, to a soldier who was feared by his enemies, there were a lot of visual effects put into making Chris Evans look as skinny as he did.
