After a long wait, Disney Plus has finally dropped the first two episodes ofObi-Wan Kenobi. The premiere episodes were everything we hoped for, and now the community is looking forward to watching Episode 3. Well, here’s everything we know about the next episode’s release schedule.
Obi-Wan Kenobishows the aftermath of Order 66, which was carried out ten years ago. The time of Jedi is over, andObi-Wanis living an isolated life while taking care of the young Luke Skywalker. However, Darth Vader still has a deadly team hunting down every Jedi who survived all those years back. Also, it turns out that one hunter, Third Sister, is focused on findingObi-Wan, who is now living a life hiding in a cave.
The Jedi master does find some allies who are looking for a chance to win back their place in the world, but Obi-Wan asks them to bury their lightsabers in the desert. But eventually,Obi-Wanis forced to dig up the desert to find his and Anakin’s lightsabers for fighting the Inquisitors.
Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 3 to Release Next Week
Obi-Wan Kenobiis following a weekly release schedule, so Episode 3 of the mini-series will be available to stream onDisney Plusnext week onWednesday, June 1st, 2022.Similar to the first two episodes, the third part is directed by Deborah Chow; however, Disney Plus has yet to reveal an official title of the upcoming episode.
The synopsis of the third episode states thatObi-Wan Kenobiis about to face his darkest fear. Apparently, the Jedi master will think about Anakin Skywalker, his friend and apprentice who saw his downfall after turning to the dark side. Nevertheless, the creators will reveal an official preview for the episode as we move closer to its release. So, we’ll get more information about the third part soon.
Lucasfilm has already confirmed that the first season ofObi-Wan Kenobiwill feature a total of six episodes. So, with two episodes out, we are only left with four more parts until the season comes to an end. The television series will conclude with its final and sixth episode on June 22nd, 2022.
