The Straw Hat Pirates are one of the strongest crew in the entire world ofOne Piece. They have worked hard and, in a short period, managed to reach the level of Yonko, and that too with just 10 members on their crew. Each member has their motive and dream, but they all fight together to achieve their dreams together.

Even though the majority of this crew was recruited from East Blue, they are all quite strong and dependable, and the group as a whole is quite diverse. Each of them is quite strong, and they have their strength and abilities that help them fight the enemies. Some depend on power and tricks, while some depend on speed and agility.

Many fans think that the fastest straw hat must be Zoro or Sanji, as they are probably the strongest characters after Luffy. But contrary to popular belief, the fastest character among the straw hat pirates is none other than Brook. Even Eiichiro Oda, the creator ofOne Piece, has confirmed this himself.

Eiichiro Oda Confirms Brook Is The Fastest Straw Hat Pirate

InOne Piece, each crew member excels in a different area when it comes to fighting. The crew’s most powerful members rely more on their stamina and strength to outmaneuver their adversaries. In a similar but just as successful manner, some rely on speed to defeat their opponents in combat. According to Oda, the fastest Straw Hat Pirate is Brook.

A reader posed the question, “Who is the fastest Straw Hat crew in a 50-meter race?” In the SBSOne Piececolumn volume 85. In response, Oda ranked them from fastest to slowest for the reader’s convenience. Brook was in first place, followed by Sanji, Luffy, Chopper, Zoro, Usopp, Nami, Robin, and Franky in order of rank.

Oda claims that Brook’s body is the lightest and that he is a skeleton, which makes him the fastest; however, if Chopper used Walk Points, he could top the leader, but that would be cheating. Oda added that Zoro’s speed would increase on a shorter course. This is due to the decreased likelihood of him becoming lost.

Brook Also Uses Speed In His Fights

Because of his light frame and skill with a sword, Brook is an exceptional swordsman. His undead state also makes him incredibly difficult to harm. His speed is unmatched, and he can take out opponents without them realizing it.

He can leap very high into the air and run across water without sinking. Brook frequently uses his incredible speed to his advantage in combat, enabling him to eliminate opponents with strikes that are too fast for them to see. Brook’s speed is perfectly complemented by his swordsmanship in the fencing style.
