The video was seen by Boon, who did not have a very positive reaction at first according to his reaction on X/Twitter as he said,“Um…yikes.”But he added that it has been a common request from fans to appear in the game as a fighter, but it is“not gonna happen.”

He did not reveal any reasons why he would not be coming to the game as a fighter, but one can understand if he doesn’t want to get beat up and killed by players. He also seemed to get a good laugh out of the mod and said,“These mods krack me up.”

A modder has added Ed Boon skin for Scorpion in the game.

Players Can See Ed Boon in Action With the Latest Mod

Several fans said that they would like to see him in the game and added that they would pay for a Boon skin, but it doesn’t seem to be happening. The mod has been created by BeyonderZ and swaps out Boon with Scorpion, bringing him to the game. While there is no animation on his face, the mod still looks good. Boon’s skin also adapts to Scorpion’s moves easily as he goes against Sub-Zero, using his spear and brutal kicks to knock him down.

The skin mod is currently not available and is locked behind BeyonderZ’s Patreon, but it will be available for fans to download on May 1. According to the user’smodsprofile, they have made several mods that are amazing, and seeing from the video, the latest Ed Boon mod seems good.
