Netflix Confirms Release Date for Eiichiro Oda’sMonsters

According to the official Netflix Anime X account,Eichiro Oda’sMonsterswill be available exclusively on Netflix for global audiences in January 2024, and on Prime Video and Netflix for Japanese fans. To commemorate its impending release, the anime, officially known asMonsters: 103 Mercies Dragon Damnationin English, also received a new key visual.

MONSTERS: 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation by Eiichiro Oda tells the tale of Ryuma, the legendary swordsman that hails from the Land of Wano in One Piece.

This implies that fans will be able to enjoy this amazing story in anime form in just about a month. In addition to Ryuma, the story ofMonsterswill follow other characters such as Cyrano, another swordsman, and Freya, a young girl who survived a dragon attack.

E&H Production, the new studio headed by Park Sung Hoo, the animator ofOne Piece: Zand director ofJujutsu Kaisenseason 1, will oversee the series. His studio is going to tackle its first anime with this.

The director ofOne Piece’shighly acclaimed episode 1015, Takashi Kojima, will be designing the characters. As for the art direction, Fuinao Akai is in charge, and Ryoji Nagasawa handles color design. Lee Ju-Mi is in charge of the photography.

It is officially confirmed thatMonstersandOne Pieceare related, as the Ryuma tales are set in Wano country. Given that Ryuma is one of Zoro’s ancestors, the relationship betweenMonstersandOne Pieceis even more significant. Oda san’s fans are too excited to see one of his old works get reincarnated into an anime series.
