Freedom of speech and expression is a fundamental right in many countries and while that gives free will to the opinions of many,Bleachhas often gotten the short end of the stick. Opinions are shared by many and most, some of which may matter and others that don’t. Oftentimes, people would share their likes and dislikes about certain topics whether they hold expertise on the subject or not.

Bleach Anime

There can be times when such opinions are taken lightly while others aren’t. People who create projects on a grander scale are subjected to the opinions of not just their critics but also a large set of audience. Tite Kubo, whose magnum opus sits atop the Big 3 of Shonen manga, understands the scrutiny of what it means to have a project with a bittersweet response.

Tite Kubo is Too Protective of Bleach

When fans were getting on his nerves about Orihime’s involvement inBleach,Tite Kuboknew it was time to react to fans who didn’t understand his work as clearly as others did (viaReddit). Out of all the big three, Kubo’s series has often gotten the most backlash, although all of them have been subjected to scrutiny at one point or another.

The thing is, if you have the talent to draw a story that’s more interesting than Bleach, then please become a mangaka soon. If it’s good, then it’ll definitely be more popular than Bleach. If you say that you can’t draw, then do your best and become an editor so you can give advice to mangaka. If you really have the ability, then you’ll have good reception anywhere you go.

The mangaka straight up went about stating that things weren’t that simple when drawing something at such a grand scale and for people to constantly give him their opinions had him pushed to an outburst. He claimed that if they found themselves fit to criticize him then they could also make their own mangas.

He claimed that if their opinions really held so much value and power, then their works would be able to surpassBleachjust as much. He even suggested that those who couldn’t draw become editors and pass down advice more professionally.

Tite Kubo Snapped at His Fans

Tite Kubo wasn’t one to silently watch fans thrash Orihime when he saw so much potential in her character. So he understood that silence wasn’t the answer. Instead, Kubo pointed toward the fans who dropped their opinions one after the other without having a proper understanding of what his creation really meant.

If you don’t have the talent, nor have the effort, and yet you want to tell me that pathetic little complaint, you’re just some guy who’s trying to hinder a person who’s actually working hard, so close your eyes and hide in your corner, open your mouth only to eat rain and dust and maybe you’ll actually live somehow.

To those who wanted to see less of Orihime, that wasn’t going to happen. Instead, he claimed that since these are people who simply say whatever they have on their minds, they shouldn’t throw about their opinions so carelessly. They aren’t the ones working so profusely on a manga likeBleach.

He wasn’t going to let go of those who bit more than they could chew so easily. It wasn’t about there being harsh criticism but more so about the criticism pertaining to something that they clearly gave no chance about.
