In a piece forTime Magazine, director Denis Villeneuve calledPugha rumbunctious kid and a total mischief. The actress confirmed that she and Chalamet had to be separated from their trailers as they were having too much fun on set. However, Villeneuve states that Pugh is a total powerhouse once the cameras are on.
OnGraham Norton, theBlack Widowactress revealed that she was fascinated with Chalamet’s last name and had started calling him ‘Chalamala Bing Bong’. It seems even her grandmother caught wind of the fancy nickname as she toldFandango“My gran calls him Chalamala Bing Bong”.The Beautiful Boystar was left amused and pointed out how Pugh and her gran were very close.

Florence Pughis set to return as Yelena Belova in the upcoming MCU filmThunderbolts*. The film has taken quite some time time to get on its feet with multiple writer additions and shifting dates of its production. In an interview withPeople, Pugh revealed that the reason why it took so long to get the movie made was to do the story and the characters justice.

The Marvel star revealed that they have something special with film and the characters are very honestly depicted. She stated that the film is something that Marvel hasn’t done before and is excited for audiences to see the film. Pugh said,
The reason why it took so long to come together is [that] there would be no point in doing this story unless we did it properly. There’d be no point in letting these characters come together and having their character arcs unless we actually spoke the truth about how they’d be feeling — and to come and make this movie in the way that we made it. I feel like this is something that we’ve never seen before from Marvel. I feel like it’s a very open and honest and truthful idea. And I’m just really excited for people to watch it.

In addition to Pugh,Thunderbolts*will also star Sebastian Stan, Hannah John-Kamen, Wyatt Russell, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, David Harbour, Olga Kurylenko, Harrison Ford, Lewis Pullman, and Geraldine Viswanathan.The cast of the film promoted the film at Comic-Con recently and it will hit theatres on June 15, 2025.
