“90s fashions! Upbeat jams! Sass dialed up to 100! Questionable jokes! Drag queens!“Murder By Numbers, the new title Media Tonic, seems to be quite an interesting title. In this whodunnit-style game, you play as Honor, a TV detective who ends up accused of murder in real life. You must solve Pixel Puzzles to find clues, then use said clues to interrogate witnesses and unravel the truth behind the case:

From what it looks like,Murder By Numbersis shaping up to be an incredibly lively murder mystery filled with plenty of colorful characters and a tongue-in-cheek sense of humor. (Much like another well known attorney sim game.) However, the focus of this title is the investigative portions themselves:

Character designs are by the creator of pigeon dating-sim gameHatoful BoyfriendHato Moa (otherwise known as the greatest game ever created) and the soundtrack is handled by Masakazu Sugimori who composed music for the firstPhoenix Wright: Ace Attorneyas well asGhost Trick: Phantom Detective,Viewtiful Joe,Breath of Fire IV, andProfessor Laytonvs. Ace Attorney.
