If you’ve forgotten already, theKingdom Come: Deliverancegame was bashed for its lack of diversity. The game’s director, Daniel Vávra, pushed back against these claims, stating that the open-world title was a historically accurate representation. Six years later,Kingdom Come Deliverance 2was revealed with a promise that it would honor a range of ethnicities.

The sequel also includes some LGTB scenes, which will lead toKingdom Come Deliverance 2getting banned in Saudi Arabia. Many gamers aren’t happy about the title being inclusive and state that all these factors have led to a low pre-order number for the title. However, Vávra has gone all-out against such pointless claims.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2debunks“woke”pre-order theories
Daniel Vávra has taken to Twitter/X and shared screenshots that debunk all rumors suggesting thatKingdom Come Deliverance 2‘s pre-orders have plummeted. He highlights a YouTube video titled“woke,”which describes how the game is suffering from pre-order refunds.
“Imagine being that sensitive”: Saudi Arabia Allegedly Banning Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Over Unskippable Gay S*x Scene Is Peak Hypocrisy
According to Vávra, the YouTuber behind this video, is a“grifter”and has revealed that the title’s pre-orders haven’t taken a dip as the ratio of sold and returned copies is still the same.
Another grifter. No. Our pre-orders haven’t dropped because of backlash. The sold/returned copies ratio is the same as it was. What happened is, that the preview hype has naturaly wanned and 9 massively discounted games entered the chart. Monster Hunter is down as well.pic.twitter.com/vfQY7sE6tG

That’s not all, though; Vávra stated that the game’s preview hype has gone down, andthe arrival of a number of discounted titleson Steam charts is the primary reason behind the drop. While gamers agree with Vávra’s reasoning behind the decline in pre-orders, many have hit back at him and believe that the game will be a failure.
Why are you still doing this? You are doing nothing but hurting your game by constantly attacking people. It’s not a good/smart move.

While KCD isn’t my thing I wish you massive success with the sequel and bless you for calling out the mindless grifters
Don’t market your game as historical then have ahistorical things like “mansa of Mali” which has no historical basis for being there in 15th century Bohemia. It’s extremely disingenuous.

you had one job: don’t make henry gay and don’t teleport a bunch of africans into your world. You failed on both. so many people believed in you bro. wtf
This gay shit lost at the ballot box. We aren’t buying it anymore.

It’s not the first time we’ve seen Vávra going out against such claims. A few days ago, hetalkedabout multiple“wild claims”relating to the sequel’s criticism and stated that Warhorse has no intention of makingKingdom Come Deliverance2 a clickbait. He relayed that it was disappointing to see such hateful comments floating around the title.
When isKingdom Come Deliverance 2coming out?
Despite the pointless“woke”controversies surroundingKingdom Come Deliverance 2,there’s no denying the fact that it was one of the most anticipated titles of the year. If you’re someone who’s itching to play the game, you’ll be happy to know its release is right around the corner.
