These special weapons are some of the strongest you can acquire in the game, and can become invaluable assets for players venturing into the Tier III Zone. This guide will show you how to getthe Raygun, the Scorcher, the Wunderwaffe DG-2, and other Wonder Weapons in MWZ.
How To Get Wonder Weapons In MWZ
Wonder Weapons can be found in three distinct forms within Modern Warfare Zombies, each of which requires its own method of obtaining them. These include:
How to Get A Wonder Weapon Out Of The Mystery Box
The first, most familiar, and less risky way ofobtaining a Wonder Weaponis through theMystery Box. Mystery Boxes can befound all around the Urikstan map, and will be marked on your tac map for you to locate. In order to spin the Mystery Box, you will need toinvest 950 Essence. You can acquire Essence via looting, completing Contracts, or eliminating Zombies. Though all Wonder Weapons can be acquired through the Mystery Box, getting one is purely down to chance.
Wonder Weapons obtained through the Mystery Boxcannot be extracted.

How To Get A Wonder Weapons Case
Wonder Weapons can also be acquired in the form ofWeapon Cases. Weapon Cases are oftenobtained from Reward Riftsaftercompleting a Contract within Tier II and Tier III Zones(orvia clearingLegacy Fortresses), but are not guaranteed drops. Once you have a Weapon Case in your backpack, you may open it right away to get the Wonder Weapon inside, or leave it inside and Exfil with it.
Some of the easiest Contracts to complete in the Tier II Zone to farm these kinds of rewards are: Deliver Cargo, Spore Control, and Eliminate The Bounty.Extracted Weapon Cases will remain in your backpack, meaning you can take them with you to another deployment, or store them in your Acquisition Stash.
There are also a few missions in the game that reward you with a Wonder Weapon Case acquisition, such as the Holdout Mission.
If youopen the Weapon Case, you will beunable to extract the Wonder Weaponfound inside.
How To Get Wonder Weapon Schematics
Wonder Weapon Schematicsare the final way to obtain Wonder Weapons in MWZ. Wonder Weapon Schematics allow you tocraft a Weapon Case via the Schematic Craftingsection in the pre-game lobby. Some Schematics - such as the Raygun - can beobtained from Reward Riftsaftercompleting a Contract within the Tier III Zone, but are not guaranteed drops. Once you have a Weapon Schematic, you can craft a Weapons Case ready for another run, or save it for when you really need it.
There are also a select few Schematics that are tied to the main missions for MW Zombies. Toget the Wunderwaffe DG-2 Schematic, you will need tocomplete the Act III Tier 4 Mission: Holdout- which tasks you with extracting the Schematic upon completing an Outlast Contract.
Once you have aWonder Weapon Schematic, it will bepermanently unlocked for youin theSchematics sectionof the main menu. This will allow you to craft an infinite number of Wonder Weapon Cases, but there is a48-hour cooldown after each use.
