I messaged the directors and said ‘Can I come over and have a meeting with you’ and then I came over and there was a whiteboard.I saw my ending and thought, ‘Oh’, and then I walked away very slowly.
In an interview onThe Jonathan Ross Show, she also said she wouldn’t reveal Eleven’s fate, mostly because of her contract with Netflix:
I really like Netflix and I’d like to be employed by them for a very long time. I signed a piece of paper that says I’m not going to say anything, and I think I owe it to them to keep my mouth shut.
The big question is: should fans be worried about the character’s journey ending or not? It’s tough to tell based only on an “Oh”, but truth be told, it sounds pretty exciting in a way. Eleven has always been someone willing to sacrifice herself to save everything.
