Today, theÂMicrosoft Flight Simulator 2020UK update went live for fans all around the world.According to a Microsoft blog post, the update features “high-resolution 3D photogrammetry for the renowned cities of Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, London and Oxford, five new meticulously hand-crafted airports (Barra, Liverpool, Land’s End, Manchester-Barton and Out Skerries), visual and logistical improvements to 85 more area airports, and improved digital elevation information across the U.K.”

This new update allows players to truly be immersed as if they were actually flying through the UK and Ireland. With the additional high-resolution assets and landmarks,ÂFlight Simulatoris going to be easier than ever to get lost in.

TheMicrosoft Flight Simulator 2020UK update is the third in a series of World Updates that Asobo Studios has been rolling out for the game. Each update focuses on a different part of the world to fill with high-res assets and hyper-detailed monuments. World Update 1 focused on detailing Japan and World Update 2 completed the USA. World Update 4 was announced to cover France and Benelux and was set to release sometime in March, however,with World Update 3’s delay, it’s likely that the initially announced release schedule might have shifted around.
