Much like its importance in real life, money has always been a valuable resource inAtlus’s games, and not just in the way where you may grind a couple hundred thousand; we’re talking about the millions here.
You could say the same about the Reeves inMetaphor: Refantazio, your main money resource for the game, which you need in large abundance if you want to purchase thebest gear for your party.

Metaphor: ReFantazio: 10 Best Weapons, Ranked
Weapons like the Hero King’s Sword and the Gambler’s Anelaces can make a big difference in Metaphor: ReFantazio.
Of course, filling your pockets with a ton of Reeves isn’t a total walk in the park, as you’ll need to go out of your way and farm for them in certain parts of the game.

But for all those looking to become a wealthy king, I’ve compiled a few of my favorite farming locations in the game and the other main methods that can help you quickly rake in a ton of cash easily.
The farming methods in the overworld and dungeons will require theMerchant Archetype, so make sure you have it unlocked.

Tradia Desert (Early-Game)
The Tradia Desert is one of the earliest side dungeons you can venture to farm Reeve. It’s the same area where we began the game when trying to get to Grand Trad in the opening sections.
If you’re doing theManjula Bounty, you’ll come back here, so my advice is, if you haven’t already beaten him, then this is the best time to kill two birds with one stone.

The farming strategy is a simple method of using your bustedMerchant Archetype to defeat thecontinuously respawning Sandwormsin the area. you may either engage with the Manjula first or later once you’ve done enough farming.
Alternate farming locations this earlywould be theImp’s Denif you’re also looking to gain a good chunk of experience, since you’re able to reset the area and rinse/repeat it.

You might also wonder if theRegalith Grand Cathedral’sTrance Crystal spawning skeletons are any good; they’re not worth it.Instead, just use them torecharge your MPvia theWizard archetypeif you want to complete that dungeon in a single day.
Forsaken Tower (Mid-Game)
Perhaps the farming spot where I spent most of my time was theForsaken Tower, which can be accessed via theSuperior Scrimshaw sidequestin Brilehaven.
The farming strategy here is that thefourth floor has two Trance Crystalsthat spawn infinite enemies, and these, in particular, spawn the Hexer, Archer, and Maneater Goborns, the lattermost of which may require you to be slightly leveled to one-hit KO them.
Be sure to eliminate the three Potolpo enemies (Squid jars) in this room, as their self-destruct can cause a lot of damage when you get close to them.
What makes this the best farming spot for money is the amount of infinitely spawning enemies you can kill here, alongside the equally high Archetype experience you earn, which can greatly level up any of yourfavorite Archetypesin a matter of minutes.
Also, the room’s layout is small, so the enemy AI won’t have much area to kite around. You can just easily mash your attack button to defeat them with only minimal attention required.
You can easily grind upwards of1.5 million or more Reeve in an hourwith the Merchant Archetype, just as long as you manage to one-hit KO the Maneater Goborns a level above them and avoid being overwhelmed in a tight room.
Another important thing:if you accidentally damage the crystals or if they’re close to shattering, simplyhead back down and exit/enter the dungeon again to restore them back to full health.
Metaphor: ReFantazio: 10 Best Bond Abilities
From guaranteed MP recovery to cooking at light speed, the abilities earned from your Followers in Metaphor: ReFantazio are invaluable.
Dragon Temple (Mid-To-Late Game)
Depending on when you decide to tackle it during the deadline days, theDragon Templeis a ginormous main-story dungeon. But it also equally presents a few great farming spots for money and experience.
Proceed through the dungeon as normal until you reach theShinjuku Drakongrace section. As pointed out in the images above, you may find our next farming spot, conveniently near a Magla Hollow saferoom.
Be careful of the Treebeast enemy lurking outside the room in the hallway.
The room here will always spawn a mix of thePapyrgas and the Labovesps, the former of which can dropMagla Pills, useful items that can restore your MP,and one I also recommend farming.
So not only are you getting a good amount of Reeve and experience from this farm, but you can also get a ton of Magla Pills, which, unfortunately, get capped out at 99 in your inventory.
Now for the other spots, there’s anotherroom near the elevators where you’re able to encounter two Crystalsthat spawn the Papyrgas and Ostoflos. However, I don’t like this one because the enemies can get stuck in the foliage here.
Instead, you’re able to find thedefinitive farming spot of the Dragon Templetowards the end of the dungeon once you reach theMagla Hollow right before the Inner Sanctum,AKA the final boss fight room.
In addition to the Magla Pills, you can also earn valuable items from the Treebeasts, which can be sold back at the merchants to generate an extra pile of Reeves.
As shown in the images above, three Trance Crystals in the centerinfinitely spawn the Tree monsters, Labovesps, and Papyrgas. Within an hour of optimal grinding here, you may earn around 1.7 million Reeveand a heap of the aforementioned Magla Pills.
The middle crystal’s enemies need to be somewhat aggroed, so you’ll be running here a bit, but besides that, this is easily one of the best farming spots to earn money.
Complete Bounties
Completing Bountiesis a great way to earn a decent amount of Reeves, especially towards the late game, where you can tackle multiple bountiesbefore your ultimate showdown on the Tyrant’s Star.
you’re able to acquire almost all of these bounties from the recruitment centers located in each major city, and you can get further information on your targets via the Info Traders at Taverns.
Most importantly, if you’ve reached Rank 3 withCatherina’s Bond, you can unlock herBounty Bonus Follower Ability, increasing the money you obtain from successfully completing bounties.
It’s definitely worth getting this ability before you do most of theearly-to-mid-game Bountiessince it basically means you’ll be getting the true cash reward from all the targets you take down.
Exchanging MAG For Reeve
Lastly, another flexible way to accumulate a good chunk of Reeve is via theMAG exchange vendorsthroughout the cities. You can obtainMAG in various ways, from defeating enemies and via certain dialogue choices fromFollower Bonds.
The exchange rate is pretty subpar at the start of the game, so I suggest using this methodunder the following conditions:having Brigitta’s Merchant’s Markdown Follower Ability and when poor weather conditions are active.
you’re able to unlock that Follower Ability atBond Rank 6 with Brigitta, and the weather conditions can be checked via theweather forecast NPCs,so ultimately, if you want to maximize your gains with this method, certain circumstances need to be met.
If you have a ton of MAG lying around like I do, turning it in with the conditions can net you around400,000+ Reeves for just 40,000 MAG. Still, if you want to conserve this resource and farm normally via the methods I mentioned, that’s fine, too.
