They perform a number of acrobatics and swap between 3 types of guns;Pistols,Shotguns,andRifles. Players new to the Gunslinger class will want to take all of this easy-to-digest information about clearingChaos Dungeonsto the next level.
In this particular build, we’ve chosen to highlight thePeacemakerengraving, but you are welcome to change a couple of things around to utilize theTime-to-Huntengraving. For this content, there’s only one really strong ability you miss out on when you can’t use the Shotgun. The crux of this build revolves around a lesser-known engraving. It is often overlooked in other forms of content, but thePreemptive Strike Combat Engravingis one of the best choices to make in Chaos Dungeons. (More information can be found in this post.)

Skills To Use In Chaos Dungeons As A Gunslinger
In the beginning,wait until most enemies have spawned, and continue tomove aroundto avoid taking too much damage. When there is a goodcluster of enemies, blast them all away with big hitting skills such asEquilibrium,Sharpshooter, oranyof the Rifle Skills. Each of these will be able to take out all normal enemies on the screen.
Thethird tripod"Quick Prep"onBullet Raincan be utilized with great success in Chaos Dungeons, since killing enemies has a chance to reset the skill’s cooldown, it can often becast repeatedly in quick succession.
In the second zone, line up the Named enemies and use eitherFocused Shot, orPerfect Shotto take them out. Killing 2 or 3 Named enemies is sufficient enough to reset all your cooldowns so that you can use them again in time for the next Named. Again, useEquilibrium, Sharpshooter,andSpiral Flameto clean up the remaining Normal enemies. Once more Named enemies respawn, repeat the process, starting with the Rifle Skills.
For theChallenge-typeenemy at the end of this zone, an easy strategy to wipe them out in one hit is to use either of yourAwakening Skills.

Gunslinger Gem Priority In Chaos Dungeons
The abilities used most often areEquilibriumandSharpshooter.These should be the top 2 gems to focus on. The remainder of the gems are primarily for increasing the damage of the Rifle skills. Another note: if you intend on using theBullet RainQuick Prepinfinite cast method, picking up the Damage Gem is very valuable. Havingseparate gem presetsfor Chaos Dungeons and Raids is important but can be expensive, so make sure to keep that in mind when building your Gunslinger.
Stat Allocation
Stat allocation comes from the Accessories (Necklace,Earring, andRings). It can be very expensive to have a different set of Accessories for Chaos Dungeons, so you should choose those stats based on the class engraving you’ve chosen to play.
Tripod Skill Tree Effects
AtTransfer Skill Tree NPC, you should transfer tripod skill tree effects from looted gear to your equipped gear. (Don’t forget to save them in the Tripod inventory tab too for multiple builds!) Not every Tripod can be leveled up, and this build leaves 2 extra Tripods available to be leveled up.
