The game only has two ways for the player todeal damage to enemies, melee and ranged. There are a multitude of ranged options available to the player even if you decide to go without learning magic, but all of them use the same ammo type.
How To Use Your Ranged Option
If you missed the cues during the tutorial, you might be confused about how to use your ranged weapon in combat.
You can cycle between different types of ranged weapons using different hotkeys if you have them selected in your equipment menu.
Using the ranged option will consume your ammo, which can be seen underneath your health bar on the HUD.
How To Gain Ammo
Once you run out of ammo, there isn’t an apparent way to recover it, leaving the player confused. However, the process is easy enough in most cases. There are two ways to regain your ammo:
The second option is much better compared to resting at a vestige since you don’t want to revive the enemies in an area just to recover your ammo. It’s also very useful for boss fights, though having the pouch added to a belt slot is necessary for it to be a viable option during combat.
