In a newInstagram reel,Dune: Part Twoactor,Josh Brolingave a tour of his guesthouse and Airstream trailer in Malibu, California. As he explained significant memories or facts regarding each room of the house, he shared an interesting encounter with Sean Penn as he spotted his billiard table.
Recounting his old days, he stated,

“I love playing pool, and we were playing in Barney’s Beanery once, and Sean Penn was behind me.”

He continued sharing that Tom Cruise’s 1986 movie,The Color of Moneywas released at the time, which also hinted about Penn’s story timeline. He added how Penn mocked the former as he stated,
“And the color of money had just come out, and I had a big pompadour at the time. And Sean Penn said, look, another Tom Cruise wannabe.”

While this could have been nothing but a friendly joke between the duo, they ended up working together inMilk(2008) andGangster Squad(2013). For working in the 2008 film, both the actors garnered critical acclaim and accolades including an Oscar nod for Brolin.

Overall, he performed almost all of the difficult shots by himself except for one tricky shot, which Sigel performed in the movie. Since it was a sequel to 1961’s The Hustler, many felt it was inferior to its predecessor even though the 1986 movie ended up garnering positive responses.
