As a souls-like,Lies of Pfocuses a lot on the combat aspect of the gameplay. Whether you want towhack enemies across with a giant hammerorpepper them with sketchy throwables, you’re able to do it all.

One way to damage the damned in your travels is through yourmechanical arm attachment, the Legion Arm. These knick-knacks are a bit finicky, but can be a powerful addition to your build in the right circumstances.

Left Arm of Steel, Lies of P, Legion Arms Ranked

8Left Arm Of Steel

The Left Arm of Steel is the first legion arm that the player has equipped when they wake up at the start of the game. It’s the definition of a default weapon and doesn’t have anything that would make it a good option when there is anything else available.

The arm does a good amount of melee damage, more than your normal attacks do at the start, but there’s no real reason to use it instead of performing a special attack. It’s just a placeholder that acts as an aesthetic prosthetic piece until you may find something else to fill the spot — it does look cool, though.

Deus Ex Machina, Lies of P, Legion Arms

7Deus Ex Machina

Dues Ex Machina lets the player plant landmines and lure enemies to them to trigger an explosion that deals a decent chunk of damage. With upgrades, the player can increase the blast damage and radius, number of landmines, and trigger distance.

This Legion Arm is mostly useful for specific situations where you can kite multiple enemies at the same time toward a choke point. It’s aneasy way to farm Ergo, but it’s not useful for normal combat unless you want to take a risk during the fight.

Pandemonium, Lies of P, Legion Arms

6Pandemonium

Pandemonium sprays acid in an arc in front of the player. The good thing is that the acid stays on the ground and deals damage to anyone who steps on it. If you upgrade the Legion Arm, you can concentrate the acid into a straight line and even make it explode! No cons in sight.

As far as Legion Arms go, Pandemonium is a decent pick for your first unlock. It’s great for mobs, though it’s not very useful against most bosses (works best against human types). However, it can cause the Decay status effect and help you win fights faster. Also, it’s a godsend against a large group of enemies. Spam it till you cover everything and nothing is alive.

Aegis essentially gives the player a shield they can use to damage any enemy that hits it. If you time it right, you may even use it for parries, though that’s not a viable strategy most of the time unless you want to learn two different patterns: One for normal parries with your weapon and one for parries with the Aegis (it deploys with more of a delay compared to normal blocking).

Aegis, Lies of P, Legion Arms

Without any upgrades, it’s quite a limiting Legion Arm to use. However, once you spec into the arm a little bit, Aegis becomes essential for your normal travels around Krat, giving you a sure way to block any attack while dishing out damage. An unknown Elite whose attack patterns you’re not sure of? Use Aegis. A new enemy that’s annoying you? Use Aegis. Oh look, it’s a new boss! Okay, don’t use Aegis this time, it’s not great for extended boss fights.

4Puppet String

Puppet String zips smaller enemies towards you and zips you towards larger ones, if you let it. A very simple mechanic, and all the better for it. Upon upgrade, you can pull yourself towards smaller enemies as well, dodge after locking on, and attack during your flight to fight.

The first Legion Arm you unlock is more useful than you think. It’s one of the few ones you can reliably use against a boss without slipping up and losing most of your HP in one combo, especially because of the helpful last-minute dodge option you unlock eventually. It’s a solid option to invest in if you’re not sure about the other arms.

Like all great things in life, Fulminis electrocutes anything that approaches it without caution, and it electrocutes them well and well. If you upgrade it enough, it’ll let you move around a little bit during the charging process, electrocute enemies harder than normal, and even cause some damage while charging!

Fulminis is an absolute unit againstPuppet-type enemiesbecause of their weakness to electricity. Fulminis can cause electric blitz, dealing damage overtime, and it’s a must-have for any player running an electricity build alongside theElectric Coil Stick.

2Flamberge

Flamberge has the same shtick as Fulminis, except it spits out fire instead of inflicting electrical trauma on the local puppet population. Upon upgrade, it fires farther, and longer, and causes explosions after some time.

Flamberge is a very versatile Legion Arm that works well against human-type enemies as well as any monsters that lurk in the shadows. It’s especially useful against bosses likeFallen Archbishop Andreus.

Legion Arms like Pandemonium, Flamberge, and Fulminis don’t count towards Guard Regain, Pulse Cell Recovery, or Fable Cell Generation unless you getP-Organ upgrades.

1Falcon Eyes

Falcon Eyes is a cannon in your arm, no other way to say it. It shoots exploding bullets and if you upgrade it, it’ll shoot more of them, not much else needs to be said on the topic.

There aren’t a lot of options to deal ranged damage in Lies of P, and Falcon Eyes is the only one that does so from a safe distance, and is renewable. It’s great for boss fights, elite fights, and even normal fights. If you want to use a Legion Arm that maximizes damage across all enemies, Falcon Eyes is your safest bet.
