To make travel easier, the developers have added theGliderand the Grappler, two tools to make your journey faster. The Grappler is useful to propel yourself to a fixed point as long as there is something for the tool to latch on to. However, getting the Grappler requires some rare resources you won’t find unless you go looking for them.

Copper Bar
Copper can be found in any of the caves in the Dry Valley (desert biome). Remember to bring a rare Pickaxe to mine the deposits. To convert Copper into Copper Bars, you’ll need a Metal Smelter, a utility station that can be built using these materials.
Once you have a Metal Smelter, you can make a Copper bar by combining Copper with two Brightcores. The conversion formula is:
Unlike the Glider, the Grappler doesn’t last forever. Each Grappler has 30 charges, and it will disappear after you use up all of them.
Blast Powder
Dropped from the skeletons in the Dry Valley that come out at night.you’re able to also find some from chests in the Dry Valley, but you’ll get more by farming skeletons. To make the fights easier, remember to bring a follower from the village to accompany you in battle. If you give them a sword, they can make short work of any enemies quickly.
Five Vines can be converted into one Cord using the Spinning Wheel.You can find Vines easily by destroying bushes in the Grasslands with your sword. Like Blast Powder, Vines can also be found in chests but only from the Grasslands area. Harvesting pumpkins will also drop some vines you can pick up.
