So much so, that you might not get them all done by the time the region switch occurs. This means that you’ll likely find yourself in a position where you’ll want to return to your starting region.

The game doesn’t make it super clear how to go about heading back to Trosky, but worry not, as we will show you how it’s done so you’re able to return to your old stomping grounds.

How To Switch Regions

After you reach Kuttenburg following completing the quest ‘The Storm’, there will be a period where you will have to remain in the Kuttenburg region as the story develops and you complete main quests.

However, as soon as you finish ‘Speak of the Devil’ you’ll be let off the leash once more and allowed to explore the region properly.

Every time you make the jump between regions in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, you’ll have to pay 200 Gloschen for the privilege. So, a little bit of advice. If you do plan on heading back, make sure you intend to stay a while and make the most of your time there.

Also, this process is the same when heading from Trosky to Kuttenburg, and players will find the caravan spot in this region northwest of the Nebakov Fortress, right at the edge of the map.

Why Return To Trosky?

You may be thinking that if the story has progressed to a new region, and a lot of the quests automatically failed if not completed before the point of no return, what’s the point of heading back to Trosky?

Well, the simple answer is that, while some quests can’t be completed at this point, a lot of others can. Plus, there are a number of useful NPCs, skill teachers, traders, POI Tipsters, and more in Trosky, and it’s unlikely that you will have seen everything the region has to offer by this point.

So, if you still have some quests to clear, or feel like you didn’t get the most out of your time in the starting region, it should give you peace of mind to know that you can head back any time you like.
