With its release last year,Jurassic World Evolutionbrought players a brand new way tomake the dinosaur-filled theme park of their dreams come to life(with hopefully minimal chaos in the process). Created byElite: Dangerousmaker Frontier Developments, the studio managed to create an immersive park builder inspired by one of the most beloved film franchises of all time, and now those looking to recapture the magic of the classic original film will be able to do so next month.
Frontier Developments has announced that a new DLC forJurassic World Evolutionwill be coming on December 10 for $19.99, titled “Return to Jurassic Park.” As the name implies, the new DLC will allow players to create dinosaurs, locations, buildings, and more inspired by the firstJurassic Parkfilm, and will take place on the islands of Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna that the first movie took place on.
In addition to this new content, the “Return to Jurassic Park” DLC will also feature new story missions featuring Drs. Alan Grant, Ellie Satler, and Ian Malcolm, who will all be voiced by their original actors Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum, respectively.
Given the love that so many have for the original film, it seems like a no brainer thatJurassic World Evolutionwould incorporate some of the iconic dinosaurs and other moments from the first film. However, from the DLC’s announcement trailer, it seems like the “Return to Jurassic Park” DLC will offer players of the simulation game a hefty new experience with tons of nods and references to the iconic blockbuster.
