While the fans were betting on Gojo’s supremacy in the battle, the previous chapter shattered their hopes when the life of our beloved Gojo was put into question by Sukuna’s deadly neck slash. Since then, Gojo’s army has been wondering if he survived the attack and hoping for his well-being.

What Happened Previously On Jujutsu Kiasen?
The previous chapter started with the Sorcerers captivated as they watched the intense clash between Gojo and Sukuna unfold on multiple screens. The telecast commentator informed the viewers that Sukuna was employing Domain Amplification against Gojo with the aim of neutralizing his infinity barrier. Yuta recalled that this tactic had been previously used, which they had witnessed in a video recorded by Mechamaru. Hakari expressed amazement and questioned the possibility of such a strategy. Kusakabe stepped in to clarify that Domain Amplification was an upgraded version of a Simple Domain, enhancing its effectiveness.
The group discussed the drawbacks of amplification, with Angel highlighting that both Sukuna and Gojo were unable to utilize their innate Cursed Techniques while under its influence. However, Angel speculated that if Sukuna had devised a different plan to overcome Gojo’s infinity barrier, the outcome of the battle might not be in Gojo’s favor. Miwa raised the question of why Sukuna didn’t simply resort to Domain Expansion, and Kirara explained that employing such a move would swiftly bring an end to the battle. Yuji interjected, emphasizing that the effects of a Domain would penetrate Gojo’s infinity barrier, making it a dangerous option to consider.
Ui Ui questioned if Sukuna might have believed he could not emerge victorious in a Domain battle against Gojo. Shoko replied that Gojo’s astute nature and his Six Eyes ability would have detected any such thoughts emanating from Sukuna. Choso shared his knowledge about Sukuna’s barrier-less Domain, which he had learned from Yuji and Inumaki. Miwa, feeling perplexed, questioned how a barrier-less Domain functioned. Kusakabe then requested Miwa to throw water, and upon complying, he returned the bottle, explaining that he had merely asked for water. This simple demonstration helped Miwa grasp the concept of a barrier-less Domain.
Maki added that while rare, a barrier-less Domain was not an impossibility, citing Megumi’s incomplete Domain Expansion as an example. However, Kusakabe clarified that Megumi’s Domain differed from Sukuna’s, talking about the incomplete nature of his Domain, whereas Sukuna possessed complete control over his Domain Expansion.
Ino and Inumaki discussed Domain Expansion, and Inumaki asserted that Gojo never ran out of Cursed Energy, but Ino clarified that consecutively using Domain Expansion should be considered differently. Kashimo added that when it came to efficiency, Sukuna displayed godlike proficiency in utilizing Cursed Energy, and if it hadn’t been for Gojo’s Six Eyes ability, Sukuna would have already emerged victorious. Following the discussion, Momo speculated that even Gojo and Sukuna themselves might not have been aware of the ultimate outcome.
Higuruma drew everyone’s attention to the unfolding events, where we saw Gojo and Sukuna simultaneously activating their Domains. Gojo’s Unlimited Void clashed with Sukuna’s Malevolent Shrine, and the narration elucidated that the must-hit effects of both Domains had overlapped and canceled each other out. However, if either combatant had sustained significant damage, the must-hit effect would instantaneously impact the opponent. At the end of the chapter, Sukuna broke Gojo’s barrier from the outside, launching an attack that slashed Gojo’s neck.
