Ever since Johnny Depp met Amber Heard in 2009, on the set ofThe Rum Diary, something special ignited between the pair. They didn’t act on those feelings until later, as at the time Depp was in a relationship with Vanessa Paradis. But they couldn’t remain apart for long and began dating around the end of 2011.
In the three years that followed, Depp and Heard got engaged before tying the knot in a private ceremony. The way things moved, many Depp fans thought, their favorite star, who had previously dated Winona Ryder and Kate Moss, had finally found the special one.
Their seemingly romantic dynamic took a drastic turn in 2016 when Heard filed for divorce from Depp followed by a temporary restraining order. Different suggestions have been made to explain the sudden twist in the relationship, not least the involvement of a DC actress.

How Cara Delevingne Supposedly Impacted Johnny Depp’s Relationship With Amber Heard
The news of Amber Heard being granted a temporary restraining order againstJohnny Deppin the summer of 2016 was followed by reports of thePirates of the Caribbeanstar physically abusing her. The Oscar-winning actor denied all such claims.
A report inYahoo!claimed that Depp was secretly “driven insane” by paranoid fears that Heard was cheating on him withCara Delevingne. The model-turned-actor rose to prominence in the same year after portraying June Moone in DC Extended Universe’sSuicide Squad.
A source was quoted as saying: “Amber’s friendship with Cara, which grew closer and closer over time, brought about the beginning of the end for her marriage to Johnny. They used to party together a lot and made no attempt to hide the fact that they were quite flirty. Amber always made her bisexual tendencies quite obvious.”
Their supposed penchant for partying hard together also turned out to be a nightmare for Depp when he was renting a London mansion during the filming ofAlice Through The Looking Glass. A source told The Sun (via Yahoo!):“He needed rest and sleep. But Cara and Amber seemed to have no respect for that.”
The 60-year-old found Delevingne so “obnoxious” and “disrespectful” that he would ask his staff to warn him when the 31-year-old was going to be around.

After Depp sued Heard for defamation on the back of an op-ed she published in theWashington Post, more murky suggestions concerning their relationship came to light.
A report in theDaily Mailrevealed Delevingne’s name was “dragged into” Depp’s defamation suit over claims she had a “three-way affair” with theAquamanstar and billionaire Elon Musk. The trio allegedly had a threesome at Depp’s downtown LA penthouse in late 2016 after Heard split from theEdward Scissorhandsstar, according to a deposition from a friend and former neighbor.
Musk, however, denied any such claims, insisting he and theSuicide Squadactress are friends and have never done intimate things.
