It has only been a few weeks sinceHelldivers 2was released, and it has already received a lot of positivity from the gaming community, as players from both PC and PlayStation have been enjoying the chaotic worlds that they can explore within the game.

One Helldivers 2 player attempts to issue their own set of rules for players to follow, and they are ridiculous.

Since the game’s release, players have been working tirelessly to bring liberty and democracy to the universe, and they have been working together to complete this objective as one big team, but there are some players who seem to only look out for themselves rather than the greater good, according to this recent Reddit thread.

There Are Rules When It Comes to Helldivers 2, and Clearly Someone Didn’t Get the Memo.

No matter what genre of games you play, there will always be some form of unspoken rule that players will abide by to keep the game fair and honest. For example,Rocket Leaguehas one such rule in which if two players enter a standoff, they are not allowed to break it unless another player breaks it for them.

Helldivers 2also has unspoken rules like this, just like saluting when the ICBM goes off or fighting tooth and nail to try and save your friend who is being swarmed by enemies. Sadly, one player decided to ignore the unspoken rules, as they have posted on Reddit a list of their own rules that they expect other players to abide by.

It is safe to say thatHelldivers 2is a cooperative game and expects players to work together to complete objectives to save the universe from the threats that plague it, but one player has issued a set of personal rules that go against this by stating that if a player isn’t using a certain weapon, stratagem, or even backpack, then that player should be kicked as they are “trolling.“.

These Sorts of Rules Aren’t in the Spirit of the Game, and Players Are Taking to Reddit to Set This User Straight.

When it comes to any game, it is understandable that there are some players who are looking to complete the game by any means necessary rather than just enjoying the experience as it unfolds, and clearly this player is one such player.

Since this post has been published, players from theHelldivers 2community have already begun to comment on the post, with numerous memes and comments suggesting that this player could be an automaton spy trying to separate the Helldiver troops or even an alien spawn trying to bring down the Helldivers from within.

Even though this post has received a lot of backlash from the community, we can understand where it is coming from; just sadly, it isn’t how the game should be played and goes against the jolly cooperation that gamers have been experiencing within the chaotic universe ofHelldivers 2.

A Helldivers 2 player gets ridiculed on Reddit as they attempt to tell players what weapons and stratagems to use, or they will get kicked.

What do you think about this player’s self-enforced rules? Do you agree with them, or do you feel that players should be able to use whatever loadout they want? Let us know in the comments what you think!
