A lot of fans actually thought this alternate zombie universe that Angstrom Levy visits in the second season ofInvincibleis the world whereRick Grimesexists. Indeed, the walkers shared a resemblance with the undead from the zombie franchise.

Kirkman might have refuted the idea, but a crossover betweenInvincibleandThe Walking Deadis not a novel or bizarre concept. It has happened in the comics, and it could happen in television.

Angstrom Levy Might Be The Key To A Crossover

In his interview withIGN, Kirkman explained Angstrom Levy’s extent of powers and his ability to traverse through different dimensions. At this point, he revealed they are still exploring the multiverse, which could also be taken as a hint on his upcoming plans for the franchise.

“I think if Angstrom Levy’s the backbone villain, I think that that’s his core story. I don’t think that we lean on it too heavily, and I also want to stress that we’re exploring the multiverse in a much different way. I think that there’s no end of movies and TV shows that are exploring that right now.”
