We’re officially in the spookiest time of the year, andHalloweenis right around the corner. While this year Halloween may look a little “different,” there are still plenty of opportunities to celebrate All Hallows' Eve with the right mix of scary games and frightful times.

Of course, a bunch of games are offering their own opportunities to celebrate Halloween with special events, along with brand new horror games that have released in the past few weeks.Amnesia: Rebirthis among the most notable horror games to debut this month from Frictional Games, whichwe reviewed last weekand found to be a worthy successor to the horror classicAmnesia: The Dark Descent.

Additionally, several other games are hosting spooky events likeRainbow Six Siege’s puppet-filled “Sugar Fright"andMinecraft Dungeons' “Spooky Fall.“Either way, there are always plenty of classics worth going back to around this time of year likeLeft 4 Dead, theResident Evilseries,Silent Hill, and so many more that are perfect for the holiday.

For me this year, I’m planning to dig into a few horror games this week to celebrate Halloween, which is a tradition that I always look forward to.
