Indiana Jones and the Great Circle PS5 Disc Only Has A Partial Data Of The Game In It
It seems the PS5 disc of MachineGames' Indiana Jones title on PS5 only has 20GB of data in it. This was confirmed byYouTuber Retro Game Future, who managed to get an early physical copy of the game.
In the video, we not only get to see an unboxing but even the game being booted up to prove its legitimacy, and that’s when we see the size of the disc, which is a tiny 20GB. Now, while I’m no game developer, there’s no way that a game as massive as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will only need 20GB of data to run. True enough, upon booting the disc, it mentions how the user must be connected to the internet to download the rest of the data.

Yes, this means that if you buy the PS5 disc version of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, youwon’tbe able to play a minute of the game unless you’re connected to the ‘net and download the full game.
It’s a bit odd that MachineGames and/or Bethesda only packed in 20GB of data. I mean, if the entire game wouldn’t fit on one Blu-ray disc, why not include at least a playable section? That would be better than not having anything loadable at all.
