It is not fair on other players, and this is where toxicity germinates from.

It is absolutely fine to ask for a higher difficulty setting based on a player’s MMR. This MMR system is widely used in most competitive games. Having said that,Helldivers 2is not a competitive game; it cannot be treated in the same way.
