Wesley Snipes Contradicts Jennifer Lopez’sMoney TrainFilming Experience

During the late 1990s,Jennifer Lopezwas quite vocal about a lot of things. She wasn’t afraid about taking big names. But the media started buzzing when she detailed how uncomfortable she felt during the filming ofMoney Trainalongside Wesley Snipes. In a 1998 interview viaCheat Sheet, the actress recounted that even though she had a boyfriend at the time, Wesley Snipes was constantly making advances at her. She added:

Wesley – even though I had a boyfriend at the time – went full-court press. He was flirting with me-you always flirt with your co-stars, harmless-then he just started getting a little more serious. (Lopez further added) He would invite us all out together and then at the end of the night, he’d drop me off last and try to kiss me.

While this was how Jennifer Lopez remembered the happenings, Wesley Snipes, on the other hand, had a completely different story to share. Snipes added that he was just trying to make her comfortable on set. He added:

That was my job…I tried to make her comfortable – took her to dinner, talked. I knew people would look at the screen and say either, ‘They have chemistry,’ or, ‘They don’t.’ (Snipes further said) She tried to make it seem like I was using the craft just to get into her pants, and that really offended me. That’s why I didn’t say nothin’ to her.

Snipes’s statement represented his frustration with how his good intentions were misinterpreted as something entirely else. But while the actors had a little animosity back then, they have since moved on to the past and are frequently seen talking positively about one another.

Jennifer Lopez Felt ‘Violated’ During a S*x Scene

In an interview (viaPop Culture), the pop icon detailed how a particular sx scene was not originally part of the script but was added midway as the directors wanted a sxual element in the movie. She further felt that the scene was not all necessary given the storyline and plot. But she felt pressured and coerced to do so as it featured an influential actor. She recounted:

He was a big star at that time, with a lot of clout, and I was just starting out. (Further) It was my big break. And he really pressured me. He told me if the scene wasn’t hot enough, my part would end up on the cutting room floor. And that it would be bad for my career, like I’d get a reputation as difficult to work with.
