The tension between The Rock and Triple H escalated at the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff press event in Las Vegas when the wrestler-turned-actor slapped Cody Rhodes for referencing the Anoa’i family. The Great One called on Triple H to address the issue as the Chief Content Officer and Head of Creative at WWE.

While their confrontation sparked speculation of a potential match in the future, fans have already nailed down why Triple H won’t really come out of retirement to face The Rock anytime soon.

In 2021, Triple H suffered a cardiac arrest, leading to his official retirement from professional wrestling. During a 2022 interview withESPN’s First Take, The Cerebral Assassin discussed the severity of his illness and noted how terrible his condition was, as he had a heart failure and that his ejection fraction was down to 12.
”By the time I got to the emergency room, my ejection fraction had gone down to 22, which, I was in heart failure. Bad. By the next morning—as they figured that out that evening – by the next morning as they got the MRI done and they were sending me in for a heart cath my ejection fraction was down to 12.”

During that tragic event, he nearly believed he was going to die, prompting him to make the decision to officially retire. When asked if he would ever step into the ring again, he made it clear it was not happening again.
“I won’t—I would never wrestle again. First, I have a defibrillator in my chest. Which, it’s probably not a good idea for me to get zapped on live TV.”

Triple H and The Rock had a ton of terrific moments during their career in WWE, especially at the height of The Attitude Era. Nonetheless, some things cannot be changed and that’s the bottom line.
Fans Already Know Why Triple H Isn’t Coming Out Of Retirement
According to Wrestlelamia onTwitter, it was noted that Triple H will not be coming out of retirement to square off against The Rock. This was not really a big deal for many fans as they knew the reason.

A bunch of fans took to Twitter and commented on this post as they made it clear that Triple H could not compete in a match again as he has a pacemaker and will most likely die in the ring if he ever competes again.
And based on his condition that’s a very smart decision.

Like do people even realize Triple H suffered a WIDOWMAKER Heart Attack? That’s literally the worst heart attack of them all because it only has a survival rate of 12%.

Therefore, fans have accepted the fact that The Game won’t step foot inside the squared circle ever again. That being said, The Cerebral Assasin will continue to feud with The Rock and the other members of The Bloodline on WWE television. This will especially happen after The Rock and Roman Reigns make their return to WWE television on next week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
