After Jonathan Majors’ exit, the latest reports suggest that Emmy-winning actor Colman Domingo is being eyed for the role of Kang. Marvel parted ways with Majors after he was found guilty of misdemeanor assault and harassment. Interestingly, Domingo had earlier revealed that he was ready to take up a villain role in Marvel or DC.

According to inside scooperDaniel Richtman, Marvel may considerColman Domingoas a potential replacement forJonathan Majorsas Kang. Domingo won an Outstanding Guest Actor Emmy for his role as a recovering drug addict, Ali, onEuphoria. He also starred as Civil Rights activist Bayard Rustin in the critically acclaimed Netflix filmRustin, earning him a nomination for Best Actor at the upcoming Golden Globes.

With these impressive projects showcasing his acting capabilities, Domingo seems to be a great pick for the Kang role. Interestingly, in an interview with AwardsWatch two years ago, theZolaactor revealed his interest in making his debut in the Marvel or DC universe. When asked if he would accept an invitation from hisCandymandirectorNia DaCostafor a role inThe Marvels, Domingo stated that he would jump right in.

I’m part of the Fear the Walking Dead universe, but when it comes to Marvel or DC, I think I’m ready now. I’m worked out, fit… I just want to be the villain. I don’t want to be the good guy. I want to do some really dirty, nasty work.”
