But as fun as it was for fans to watch the episodes featuring Timothy Olyphant, theStar Warsactor claimed to have had a difficult time shooting his scenes. And by now, if you’ve already started considering Michael Scott accountable, then you’re on the right track. According to Olyphant’s interview on theOffice Ladiespodcast, it was indeed Steve Carell’s hilarious antics that made it nearly impossible for him to stay serious.
I don’t remember anything difficult about the show, other than I do remember laughing. I’m sure I screwed up what would have been a really good scene because with Carell where I just couldn’t stop laughing.

Further claiming to have fond memories from the set of the NBC sitcom, Olyphant seems to cherish his experience.
[Steve Carell’s] incredible. He’s fully committed. And I’m quite certain, I haven’t seen it, you know, that I’m the one busting up more than he is.

Eventually, Danny’s rivalry with Jim due to his past with Pam, and Michael’s desperate attempts to win him over, gave fans a few of the most iconic moments in the show.
