She took this fight to the next level in 2017 by attacking one of the most successful companies in the world and also allegedly one of the worst producers of plastic pollution—the Coca-Cola Company.

Joining hands withGreenpeaceand 585,000 other people who were in the fight with her, she challenged the soda company and how much alleged damage their single-use plastic does to waterbodies and those who reside in them.

“I’m happy to stand with the more than 585,000 people who are calling on Coke to phase out its use of throwaway plastic bottles,”said Bonnie Wright.“The company has the power to take the lead and set new standards of sustainability across the industry.”

She asked the company to stop its use of such packaging to help the environment heal as much as it could. She also asked them to use their influence to set an example for others, much like she does herself with her power.
