The lovable Eddie Munson ofStranger Things, Joseph Quinn, has finally opened up about his Marvel debut inThe Fantastic Four. Quinn plays Johnny Storm, aka Human Torch in the film alongside Pedro Pascal’s Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby’s Sue Storm, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s Ben Grimm. Quinn joked about going full Method for the preparation of his role in the film.
Joseph Quinn was among the celebrity guests of the FACTS Comic-Con held in Belgium on April 6th. Quinn also shared his excitement about playing the superhero and added that director Matt Shakman has a great vision for the project.

At the convention, Quinn was asked by a fan about his casting inThe Fantastic Four.TheStranger Thingsactor shared that it was an easy decision to become part of the cast. He shared that the film has a great group under the visionary directorMatt Shakman. He added that he had already spoken to the director about his role. Quinn shared (via @F4Update):
“I’m really excited! I still can’t believe it, it’s crazy. We have a great group. When I spoke to Matt, the director, he had a brilliant vision for this, and the group we have, it was an easy decision. I definitely wanted to be a part of it.”
When another fan asked the actor if he was doing anything specifically to prepare for the role, Quinn had a rather witty reply. He jokingly told the fan that he would be setting himself on fire every day to get into the character. He shared,“I’ll be setting myself on fire for real. Every day. Yeah… gotta feel it, you know?”.
