The Officeentertained audiences with its satiric humor for years before coming to an end in 2013, after nine long seasons. The American sitcom showed the everyday life of a paper company office workers in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The Dunder Mifflin Paper Company became home to some of the most loved characters on television that fans miss even today.

Recently,Breaking Badstar Bryan Cranston, who in his own right made a name for himself in the comedy genre with shows likeMalcolm in the MiddleandSeinfeld, spoke about a reunion. Speaking to twoThe Officealums, he sparked the idea of bringing the gang back together, but on a bigger scale.
Bryan Cranston Wants The Office Reunion to Happen
Recently, on theOffice Ladiespodcast, hosted by two of the sitcom alums, Jenna Fisher and Angela Kinsey,Bryan Cranstongave his two cents on whetherThe Officeshould be brought back to the screens. The Your Honor star was all for it, but instead of another TV adaptation, Cranston wants a movie for the silver screen.
He said on thepodcast,

“Let’s say that there’s not a reboot series, but what if there was a movie? Something to where we can see where these people are. These people in the entire cast that we’re curious about. We wondered at the end, where did they go? What did become of them?”
Fisher and Kinsey also seemed taken with the idea, but only under certain conditions. In a way, it might actually turn out to be a better avenue than rebooting the series or bringing another season of the show after so many years.

Jenna Fisher and Angela Kinsey Have One Condition Before Saying Yes
The two stars of the popular sitcom –Jenna Fisherwho played Pam, and Angela Kinsey who played Angela, were pretty much on-board with Cranston’s idea of a movie. They would even say yes to a cameo if theshow ever gets rebooted. However, the actors have one condition before saying yes – having Greg Daniels at the helm once again.
“Because I would trust it. You know?”Fischer said.“As long as Greg is writing it and he’s in charge of it, then I say yes.”

Cranston, too, wants to be a part of it, saying he would be happy just to be an extra in a scene.
“I just want to be an extra in it. I would be some guy. I’d be a crossing guard or something like that. Just something.”

To this, Kinsey said he could be one of the hired hands working in Dwight’s Schrute Farms. Can we say yes already?
All nine seasons ofThe Officeare available on Peacock.
