Two and Half Menstill holds a great fan following, even nine years after its conclusion in 2015. More than the show, viewers loved Charlie Sheen’s portrayal of the womanizer Charlie Harper. That, and his day-to-day humorous banter with his brother Alan, played by Jon Cryer. For the most part, everybody loved working with Sheen, but after his erratic behavior on set and feud with Chuck Lorre, he was fired from the show in 2011.

Evidently, the entire responsibility of the show fell on Cryer’s shoulders, who in many interviews detailed why working with Sheen is no longer a possibility, even shutting down reunion rumors. While this is their current scenario, in the past Cryer detailed a very sarcastic yet heartwarming anecdote about Sheen.
Why Was Jon Cryer “Enraged” at Charlie Sheen?
Charlie Sheentook the sitcom genre to a whole new level with his portrayal of Charlie Harper, a wealthy jingle writer famous for his womanizing traits. But after that, he was fired from the show after going on a full-blown anti-Chuck Lorre rant in 2011.
As a replacement, the makers brought in Ashton Kutcher as Walden, but he failed to capture the true essence of the show, with some fans even labeling him asthe most hated characteron the sitcom.

Sheen’s behavior was hurtful to Lorre on so many levels, but the entire responsibility of the show fell onJon Cryer’sshoulders. He also didn’t mince his words when he said that he was not interested in aTwo and a Half Menreunion. While this is their current relationship status, in apast interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Cryer had an interesting anecdote about Sheen that would truly capture their friendship.
When speaking about the actor, Cryer added“He is a lovely, lovely man. I hate him terribly at this moment. I’m enraged.”He continued that he had made a holiday agreement with Sheen and the duo had decided that they would not exchange gifts as the holidays were already stressful.

However, theBookieactor broke the deal and gifted Cryer a thoughtful book certificate, leaving him feeling guilty that he didn’t get him anything. Cryer continued“I got him bupkus. I got him nothing. I got him a handful of air.”
The actor also joked that Sheen had turned the holiday tradition upside down and made him feel like a clueless husband in a sitcom.

Jon Cryer Detailed How Charlie Sheen Went Above and Beyond for Him
In the same interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Jon Cryer continued to detail more stories about Charlie Sheen’s kindness and how he always went out of his way to help. For instance, the actor added that he once wanted concert tickets for Duran Duran’s reunion concert.
However, he was unable to get the same nearby, so Sheen, hearing the same, returned an hour later with tickets for a show in Orange County. Not only that but he even brought a seating chart and later apologized for the seats not being perfect. Cryer also gave another example of his kindness, when he jokingly teased Sheen about his satellite dish setup.

He had a large satellite dish on top of his studio trailer, and Cryer joked about where he might install another one. The very next day, Cryer noticed that Sheen had a satellite installed in his trailer, and even programmed the remote so Cryer wouldn’t have to get up to change the channel.
He further noted that these gestures weren’t just directed at him, but extended to everyone on set.
