Kevin Costner just hinted at his possible return in Taylor Sheridan’sYellowstoneafter quitting the show due to scheduling conflicts. The actor, who played the patriarch John Dutton in the series, chose to part ways with the series to focus on his own project.
Now, it seems there is a chance that Costner might return to the final installment as he expressed interest in finishing the show. There is no confirmation yet as the feud between him and Sheridan is still not settled.

While speaking withET Online, actorKevin Costnerjust gave fans hope that he might come back as John Dutton inTaylor Sheridan’sYellowstone. He shared his honest feelings about the series and it seems like he’s ready to join on board again.
“I’d like to be able to do it but we haven’t been able to. I thought I was going to make seven [seasons] but right now we’re at five. So how it works out – I hope it does – but they’ve got a lot of different shows going on. Maybe it will. Maybe this will circle back to me. If it does and I feel really comfortable with [it], I’d love to do it.”

Costner even revealed he has already ideas for his character and how he will navigate through the show again. Still, he thinks the decision lies in the hands of the director.
“Well, you know, he needs to be proactive in what happens, and I’ve kind of had my own fantasy how it might be, but that’s Taylor’s thing. I said as much to him a while back. I had thoughts how it could happen, but we just have to see.”
Fans are yet to rejoice for Costner’s comeback in the series, though hopefully, he gets to settle his rift against Sheridan first.

He also explained that he had a good working relationship with the actor until the controversial departure happened which already involved the court.
“I’ve never had an issue with Kevin that he and I couldn’t work out on the phone. But once lawyers get involved, then people don’t get to talk to each other and start saying things that aren’t true and attempt to shift blame based on how the press or public seem to be reacting.”
Still, he wished Costner the best of luck for his four-movie epic titledHorizon: An American Saga, in which he serves as the writer, actor, and director.
