However, the revelation came as no surprise to one of their co-stars,Simon Helberg, who played the role of Howard Wolowitz in the show. The actor later shared,“The way I feel about it now is how I felt about it then, which was I found it somewhat hilarious.”
“It was not surprising,”he told Vanity Fair in an interview. The actor shared he had noted their flirtations and speculated about their connection for some time, so he was not surprised by the confirmation.
