Hidetaka Miyazaki’sBloodborneis considered by many FromSoftware fans to be their favorite game of all time. The jury might still be out on this, but one thing is for sure: it is one of the top Soulslike games out there. Neither it nor its developer needs any introduction anyway. Even nine years after its launch,Bloodbornestill remains one of the hottest topics of discussion for its developers.

For those unaware, this was one game that FromSoftware developed alongside a studio named Japan Studio. This was a Sony first-party studio, and as a result,Bloodbornewas launched as a PlayStation 4 exclusive, yet it was a blockbuster. Fans might know these things already, but one thing that they might not know is that its director, Hidetaka Miyazaki, finds it pretty hard to play.
Hidetaka Miyazaki reveals if he can completeBloodborne
For FromSoftware and Hidetaka Miyazaki,Bloodbornewould always be a topic of discussion; after all, even after developingElden Ring, their largest game yet, it still stands as their unique creation. Its setting, its environment, its bosses, and its stories—everything has a uniqueness that was never seen in their game again.
Hidetaka Miyazaki: One of Bloodborne’s “Major selling points” Makes it Superior to Dark Souls in 1 Area
There’s not much space for what FromSoftware does in a Victorian-era setting. On the other hand, they hardly make their games straightforward horrors. They do have some horrifying sequences, but nothingreally comes as close asBloodborne,to be sure.
The other game that stood out amongst all of FromSoftware’s catalog wasDemon’s Souls. The primary reason for it being different was the fact that it was their first ever Soulslike title in theSoulsseries. It was so special to gamers that it even got an incredible remake for the PlayStation 5.

Its uniqueness also lies in the fact thatDemon’s Soulswas basically a game broken into pieces. Each area in that game was visited by interacting with a bunch of archstones in the game’s hub, which is called the Nexus. On the other hand, levels and areas in other FromSoftware games are connected in one way or another.
While a game or two can be different from all of the other FromSoftware titles, one thing remains the same among all of them: they are all hard as nails. In fact, they are notorious for their difficulty. And this is why one can’t help but wonder: Did series director Hidetaka Miyazaki ever complete these games? Does he find them too hard or too easy?

“I wish I could be a part of this”: Whilst You Wait for Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree, Get Ready to Head Back to Bloodborne with New Announcement
This questionwas answered in an interview(via GamesRadar) by the legend himself. And he was quite humble about his capabilities. He simply suggested that he might end up finishing these games, but he would not be able to do it so easily.
I think I’d better pass on giving a straight answer. To say that I’m not the greatest at games would be an understatement, so Id rather not disappoint you all. But even so, rest assured in the fact that I can beat this title, albeit with a lot of teeth gritting. The same goes for both Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls.

This is pretty honest, indeed; developers not being able to complete their hard games is nothing special. Sometimes people make a product that they themselves have no intention of using.
The chances of a newBloodbornegame are increasing every day
Fans have been asking the developers to release a sequel toBloodbornefor a very long time now. But FromSoftware hardly responds to such requests. They have a good reason to not say anything after all; they do not ownBloodborneIP. How can they confirm a sequel on their own?

Greenlighting the sequel is in Sony’s hands. But there are chances that fans willsee a remake pretty soon, as numerous rumors keep pointing at that game on a regular basis.
