I remember my first paycheck. Because it was $1234, you know, one, two, three, four. And growing up pretty simple in San Antonio, I was like, ‘I’m rich b**ch.’ You know, UT has been there for over 100 years, I’m going to stay here [and] make some Ramen money.

Why did Jared Padalecki leave Gilmore Girls?

For five seasons, Jared Padalecki played an important role in Rory Gilmore’s life and character development. Dean and Rory’s relationship was very on and off, but fans loved every bit of their romance either way. Eventually, Bledel’s character would cross paths with Jess Mariano, someone she believed she had more in common with.

Sadly, Dean and Rory would break things off and the former would move on and get married. At some point during Season 4, Dean cheats on his wife with Rory and ends up causing a ton of drama between her and her mother Lorelai. Dean’s wife would learn about his secret affair with his ex-flame and leave him.

Eventually, in Season 5, the two would officially call an end to their relationship and Dean never showed up in the seasons that followed.
