For those looking for their next challenge, rogue-like Hyper Light Breaker is set to be released tomorrow via Early Access.Hyper Light Breaker is the prequel to the indie hitHyper Light Drifter, which was released in 2016 on consoles, PC, and even mobile devices.
Developer Heart Machine has released the launch trailer today, which details on what to expect in Early Access and confirmation that we’ll be getting a content roadmap soon.
Hyper Light Breaker Is The Latest Game From Award-Winning Developer Heart Machine
The press release mentions that gamers who want the full Hyper Light experience can get it starting tomorrow with the Hyper Light Breaker Bundle. This bundle includes Hyper Light Breaker and grants a Steam code for Hyper Light Drifter. It will be available from tomorrow, January 14, until January 28. For the first week (January 14 to 21), the bundle will be available for 10% off its retail price of $29.99.
If you haven’t played Hyper Light Drifter or don’t own it yet, this bundle will give players a free digital Steam copy.
While the game might still be in Early Access, publisher Arc Games states that new content, including Breakers, Crowns, story content, gear, and more, will be released via patches and periodic major updates. Same as with most game updates, these patches will also bring gameplay improvements and new features.
Players can look forward to the Early Access content roadmap reveal in the “coming weeks,” which will also detail when the first major content update is expected to drop. The first major update will be released with a Breaker codenamed “Crow.”
Heart Machine is said to be taking community feedback “to heart” to balance the experience and bring the game to its full potential before it enters version 1.0.
