Well, it has been almost 24 years since Hugh Jackman donned the costume of Wolverine all those years back. Naturally, Jackman knows almost everything there is to know about his character, and starring alongside Ryan Reynolds inDeadpool 3might change one attribute of Wolverine. In an interview withFirst Showing, Jackman talked about Wolverine’s loneliness and how he doesn’t want to lose the“badass quality”.
“He’s someone who lives with a lot of regret and pain and, weirdly, vulnerability underneath. His natural thing, which I think is the same for a lot of people, is to retreat, to be a loner, to not rely, to not trust, to actually close off from the world.”
Hugh Jackman further continued,
“I don’t want him to completely do that because I don’t want him to lose his badass kinda quality. I think it’s a great thing to learn, that idea that, yeah, everybody finds it hard to trust and relate. That’s just one side. There are so many different sides to him.”
Hugh Jackman is all set to star alongside Ryan Reynolds in the upcoming filmDeadpool 3and the world is indeed excited with him. With director Shawn Levy at the helm of the project, the film is slated for a release date of 05 August 2025 in theaters across the world.
